IndusInd Bank goes live with the RuPay Credit Card on UPI by launching the ‘IndusInd Bank Platinum RuPay Credit Card’, in partnership together with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

IndusInd Bank On Tuesday 7 November, announced its latest product called the ‘IndusInd Bank Platinum RuPay Credit Card,’ in collaboration with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Through this card, customers will be able to participate in offline and online transactions using RuPay. What makes this credit card different is the integration with UPI (Unified Payments Interface). Customers are able to connect their credit cards with UPI-enabled applications, making it easy to make payments. This integration will allow users to earn rewards for transactions made using UPI payments, IndusInd Bank said in the statement.

The credit card will provide the option of redeemed rewards with flexibility too. Users can choose to convert their reward points to air miles, statement credit, or explore a variety of voucher options via ‘IndusMoments.’

The announcement was made by Soumitra Sen, Head – of Consumer Banking and Marketing, at IndusInd Bank said “Linking UPI to credit cards is a combination of convenience, features and benefits which will improve customer experience with payment.”

Rajeeth Pillai, Chief of Relationship Management & Marketing, at NPCI, said, “RuPay has progressively established itself as a contemporary dynamic, modern, and contemporary brand that is distinguished by custom-made value propositions, backed by cutting-edge technology that guarantees greater acceptance and security.”

In this offer, IndusInd Bank has joined banks such as Punjab National Bank, Union Bank, Indian Bank, HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank along with BFSL with the RuPay Credit Card through UPI. UPI platform.
